“A record of things felt before they could be named—sensations that linger beneath the surface of memory and slowly find their way into images.”
Hopeless Romantic - (1), 2025
Blind man’s buff - Series (1), 2025
Velvet Nihilism - series 1, 2026 Beauty does not necessarily move in the same direction as meaning. The figures within the image exist in close proximity, yet they never fully converge into a single narrative. Their relationships and the events that connect them are only suggested, never explicitly explained. What matters is not what happened, but what ultimately remains without explanation. Amid this ambiguity, the red velvet emerges with striking clarity against the darkness. Within this faded space, what endures is not a conclusion. It is something that refuses to disappear even after understanding has run its course a lingering ache that cannot, in the end, be given a name. Although the long night has already come to an end, a certain presence has never truly left. Pride and Prejudice -(1), 2025 I pretended I didn’t need to breathe because looking beautiful meant being alive. The dress conceals the truth, the mask silences the questions. You call me strange, and I believe you’re wrong. We define each other, but never truly see. Pride was my defense. Prejudice, your weapon.
Hopeless Romantic - (2), 2025 I heard it your voice breaking through the noon bell’s chime. Not a memory, but something older a yearning from a time before names. You called me in your own name, and I thought it was salvation. But it was nothing. Only a flawed summoning, an unopened door, a reel of film that won’t rewind, dissolving into disappearing hours. And then it ended. Like a communion without the body the ritual remained, but the god was gone. Simulacrum Desiderii - Aetate Digitali, 2026 Light first imitates the skin. And then, the lack. Desire never reaches its object. Instead, it produces replicas of itself. Endlessly reflected models, smoother fakes than the real. We do not desire one another. What we gaze at is the image of ourselves in the act of desiring.
Inferno, 2026 I will ascend above the clouds and make myself like the Most High. (Isaiah 14:14)
Blind man’s buff - Series (2), 2025 O folly, with eyes veiled, stretching forth your hand grasping at unseen truth, yet seizing only emptiness, crushed beneath the weight of ignorance pressing upon one another. In the labyrinth of prejudice, swayed by illusions, the tangled threads of falsehood and delusion only deepen. Beneath their feet the truth lies buried, and so they dwell forever in the abyss.
